Solar Panels Empty
PostSubject: Solar Panels   Solar Panels EmptySat Sep 13, 2008 11:05 pm

Solar Panels:

Different modules – test different shapes found in nature
Efficiency
Thin voltaic cells
Testing models outdoors for durability
Weather issues: Rain
Splitting wavelengths before it hits the panels allows much more energy to be processed/stored
Ideas: Diffraction gratings, prisms
Walmart and Costco – Flatroofs
Implementing solar panels
CHS has a flat roof too..
It just sits there in the summer with the sun beating down, collecting nothing..
Energy collected can be used, stored, or sold back to the grid
Real Goods Company, realgoods.com
Look into that
Solar Panel competitions

Questions to investigate:
Home kits/models available?
How big is the roof? Lol
Can we use a portion to test out panel models?
HCPSS policies?
